FAQ
How do I calculate EPF for free?
Enter your basic wage and this page computes the 12% employee contribution and the employer's 12%, splitting the employer share into EPS (capped) and EPF, then projects a first-year balance with monthly compounding — on your device with no upload.
How does the employer's contribution split?
Of the employer's 12%, 8.33% goes to the pension scheme (EPS) on wages up to ₹15,000, and the remainder goes to EPF. This tool shows both parts.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored, which you can verify by turning off your Wi-Fi.
Which interest rate should I use?
The EPFO declares a rate each year. The default reflects a recent rate; change it to model a different year.
Limits
Estimates contributions and a simple compounded balance; actual EPFO crediting and voluntary contributions may differ. Pending review (U7).
