FAQ

How do I calculate my loan EMI for free?

Enter the loan amount, annual interest rate and tenure in months — the EMI appears instantly in your browser with no upload, along with the total interest and total repayment. It uses the standard reducing-balance EMI formula banks use.

How is EMI calculated?

EMI = P·r·(1+r)^n ÷ ((1+r)^n − 1), where P is the loan, r the monthly rate and n the months. The tool shows this formula so you can verify the number.

Is my data uploaded?

No. The calculation runs locally and nothing is stored; it works offline.

Will this match my bank exactly?

It is an estimate on the standard formula. Your bank may add processing fees, insurance or use slightly different rounding, so treat it as a close guide.

Limits

An estimate on the reducing-balance formula, pending independent review. Fees and rounding are not included.
