How do I calculate mileage for free?
Fill your tank, note the distance to the next full tank and the fuel added, and enter both here; the tool divides distance by fuel to give km per litre and the equivalent litres per 100 km — on your device with no upload.
What is the tank-to-tank method?
Fill the tank, reset the trip meter, drive, then refill and record the litres added and the distance. That fuel-used-over-distance gives real mileage.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored, which you can verify by turning off your Wi-Fi.
Which is better, km/L or L/100km?
They express the same thing. km/L is common in India; L/100km is common in Europe. The tool shows both.
